Testing and Evaluating a spreadsheet solution

Scenario
The newspaper publishing your tables needs to be sure that the current year's tables are correct and have asked you to supply evidence of testing entries and calculations. They have also asked that you provide a detailed evaluation of your proposed solution for future years' recording and presentation of results.

Demonstrate that you have used correct formulae by providing a suitable print-out of those used with a set of manual calculations and explain where you have used checking or validation to ensure the right type or range of data is entered.

Provide a set of instructions explaining how an inexperienced user could copy the league table to a new sheet and revise it to be suitable for use with different points for win, draw etc. and with different validation rules or format for display. Your instructions should include how to sort the order of the teams for publication. (If you have produced a more advanced grid and display in Task 2 then your instructions could relate to how that has been set up and could be amended instead.)

3B Evaluation D1
Produce a report detailing your suggestions for any further refinements that might enhance appearance, usability and minimise entry of inappropriate data and facilitate publication on-line of the league data. Consider alternatives as to how to produce the required output and their respective advantages and disadvantages.
